So here is my first bit of footage produced by the GH-2. Its nothing too special, just ashort monologue presented at an event called the 42 Open Mic Night where people are invited to read original hort stories (remember something called Dramacasts? Just like that really).
Mainly this was an little experiment just to see how the camera performed in a real life situation, dealing with poorly situated lights, camera flashes and various people wandering in front of the camera. Over all I feel the camera did rather well, marred somewhat by my shaky camerawork perhaps, but otherwise the quality can’t really be complained about.
My next step is to start building a computer that can adequately handle the daunting footage the GH-2 produces (currently about 44 meg a second), not to mention the notoriously difficult MTS containers.
